Dr. Maureen Rozenn was the first female Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) to become a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), a world-wide organization. She enjoys working with women from preconception through postpartum.
As a board certified fertility specialist, Dr. Rozenn specializes in working with patients from the preconception phase, throughout pregnancy, into the "4th trimester" or postpartum period. She is especially well versed in helping women through obstacles to pregnancy, and fulfilling their dream of parenthood. Her office buzzes with doctoral students and other licensed acupuncturists who wish to learn from her. However, if patients are not comfortable with observation, they need not worry, their wishes come first and their visit will be a private one with the doctor. Dr. Rozenn combines ancient forms of diagnosis with modern diagnostic techniques such as: laboratory tests, ultrasounds, semen analysis, extensive hormonal panels, etc. She couples ancient Japanese and Classical Chinese acupuncture treatments and herbal formulas, with research-backed, high- quality nutritional supplements and diet/lifestyle coaching. Dr. Rozenn was one of the first acupuncturists in Santa Cruz County to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) with a dual specialization in Women's Health and Pain Management.
