Birth Network periodically hosts community gatherings to provide support and needed information to families. Pregnancy Information Night is held every three months as an opportunity for parents and care providers to meet and share informtion. This event is free. We are also available to come to your meeting, class, or support group. Call (831) 425-3373 for more information.
New Projects
Birth Network acts as a catalyst for developing funded projects and activities aimed at improving pregnancy, birth, and post-partum services for all communities in Santa Cruz County.
Latina Outreach Project
Working with a grant from the Woman's Foundation of San Francisco, a Latina Outreach worker and consultant have been hired to bring an awareness to Mother-Friendly maternity care in the Latina community.
Please note that a Spanish language telephone message has been added to our voice mail at (831) 425-3373. Feel free to call and request a copy of the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative in Spanish. Workshops and other projects are available to those interested in working within the Latina community to provide information, education and advocacy
